Starting in 2025, and alternating with our Summer Service Trip to Mission at the Eastward (MATE), every other year we will take a group of teens on a pilgrimage to a place of sacred significance, somewhere around the world.
In 2025, we will be taking a group to France, to spend three days hiking in the Alps before arriving at the Taizé community, where we will spend a week living and working in the midst of a gathering of thousands of other young people from around the world. Read on to learn more!

Our 2025 Summer Youth Pilgrimage will take us to France! We’ll spend three days hiking in the alps before arriving at the ecumenical monastic community Taizé, where we will join thousands of other teens and young adults from around the world for a week of worship, fellowship, and growth. It’s part French countryside escape, part music festival, part international summer camp with 6,000 of your new best friends. It’s a faith community that is all about fostering reconciliation, connection, and peace in a fractured world, and that provides the space for each of us to discern what role we have to play in this work. We need that now more than ever!
A more detailed itinerary, alongside exact pricing, will be published soon. We plan to leave on Thursday the 26th of June and return home on Monday July 7th.
Students who participate will be expected to help us fundraise as a group to cover some of our costs. We anticipate the trip costing, with fundraising, around $1,500. We have scholarship funds available for all who need them! Students must be 15 years old by June 29th, 2025 to participate (Taizé’s rule, not ours).
Registration for the trip is open and can be found below! Space is limited and the form will close in November. Please note that we are asking for a $500 deposit to hold a spot on the trip. Once we have our full group determined, we will be able to finalize our itinerary and purchase flights. With fundraising, we hope the trip will cost around $1,500 per student. It will NOT cost more than $2,000 per student. Financial assistance is available for those who need it.

Support our Pilgrims!
There are many ways to support our young pilgrims as they embark on this journey! Pray for us both before, during, and after the trip. Come to worship when our pilgrims share about their experiences. Participate in fundraisers organized by our young people to help finance their journey (more information will be published as available). If you would like to make a direct financial contribution to their efforts, please contact Kayla. Thank you for your support!
